Right now they’re blowing up my phone non stop and it’s driving me mad. Every time I block one number, they ring me from a different one. I’ve got Multiple Sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia, so even just answering the blasted phone hurts like hell. Why can’t these idiots just bugger off and leave folks in peace? RANT DONE!

Didn't pick up, let it go to voicemail and then looked up the number - blocked it straight away now.

Received a call purporting to be from BT, so I decided to end the conversation.

Got another call from some lot pretending to be BT, said my internet’s going to be cut off today or summat, with this thick American accent that sounded nothing like any proper actor. As soon as I heard "internet shutting down," I just ended the call and let rip a proper rude word into the phone. They probably didn’t catch it, but I swear it made me feel loads better!

I got a call on my home phone and when I picked up, a woman said "how can I help you?" which was odd since it was her who dialed me. Then she told me my internet would stop working in a few hours. I asked her how she knew that, and she snapped back, "because we're right outside your house, you bloody idiot." I just ended the call. Who even are these people, and why can’t anyone track them down?

I think it’s BT calling, but honestly, don’t bother answering - just put the phone down straight away.

Got a call from some American woman pretending to be from BT, saying if I didn't press 1 my phone would be cut off soon. I've had these dodgy calls loads of times before, even though I've blocked the number, so I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from an automated voice claiming to be BT, saying my internet was about to be cut off. I didn’t bother hearing the whole message and just ended the call. Then I blocked the number straight away.
