Once, I asked a lady where she got my number from and told her it’s against the law for companies to sell my info. She started being rude and then hung up on me. This always kicks off whenever I start looking online for car insurance.

Some bloke rang asking for the lady of the house, claiming he was from the UK National. I told him I don’t deal with calls like that on the phone, and he got proper rude. Then he threatened to show up at my house at 11 in the morning, saying I’d have to answer him face to face!

Got a call from a masked number showing Middlesbrough, with a company named "UK National" on the line. They wanted to ask some follow-up questions about something I supposedly did not long ago. They seemed to know quite a bit about me already, but when I asked who they really were and how they got my details, they snapped, "You should have just answered the questions!!!" and then just hung up on me. Completely pointless and feels like it’s for some dodgy reasons. Stay clear of these lot.

I kept getting calls from this number for days until I finally picked up. The guy on the phone had an Indian accent and wanted me to verify my address and postcode. When I asked him who he was before giving any info, he snapped, "Just answer the questions and let's finish this." Totally rude and not professional at all. Definitely felt like a scam. Lately I've been getting loads of sketchy calls from this number and 01684 276750. They kept pestering me until I foolishly picked up, and it didn’t take long to realise it was a scam. What really freaked me out was that they had some info about me beforehand, which I didn’t confirm. When I asked who they were calling for, they just hung up straight away. Reading other comments, it sounds like some kind of phishing attempt, trying to gather bits of info to trap you in a bigger fraud later on.
