Just like others said, they told me ‘your internet’s been hacked’ which was a total red flag in less than two days. Definitely a scam, so I went ahead and blocked the number.

I got a call about 3.46pm today from a woman’s recorded voice saying my internet IP had been hacked by someone abroad. I got a voicr message sayin my dns was hacked and to press ‘1’ if I wanted help. I did, figuring I’d mess with them a bit. Spent a good 15 mins bamboozling the poor sod on the other end who just kept getting more confused. For context, I work in IT myself. Proper laugh!
