I’ve had loads of calls that claim to be from TalkTalk, usually with an Asian accent, male or female, and they’re a right pain trying to get your personal details. I ended up using a number blocking tool that TalkTalk gave me, so they don’t stand a chance now. Also, telling them to call your mobile instead seems to be a good trick to shake them off quickly.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from TalkTalk, insisting there was an issue with my router. However, the moment I mentioned contacting customer services, they abruptly hung up. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
