I received a call on my home phone earlier. The caller brought up something related to eBay and Mastercard, which immediately raised my suspicions. It all seemed rather dodgy, so I decided to end the conversation and switch off the phone.

Got a call earlier today, an automated lady on the line claiming to be from VISA. She told me someone apparently tried to charged £500 on my VISA card. The message said press 1 to accept the charge or 2 to deny it, or something like that. I just hung up, it sounded like a total scam to me.

Got a call at about 8:45 in the morning, but whoever it was just cut off when I picked up. Since I’ve no links to Middlesborough, I’m pretty sure it was just some call centre.
