Just 30 minutes after getting two dodgy calls, this one pops up! Seriously, I’m getting hammered with these - three calls this morning and it’s barely 10:15! A woman with an Indian accent claimed I was due a £149 refund and asked me to confirm my bank info so they could sort it. I said, “No.” There was a long pause. Then she asked again if I could confirm my bank details to process the refund. I replied, “No. If you were legit, you’d already have my details. You’re not, so I’m not giving you a thing.” Then she just hung up.

I recently got a call about a refund for a warranty I apparently paid for on a TV I bought from Amazon. The guy's English was really hard to understand, and when I asked which company he was from, he wouldn’t give a clear answer. He claimed he wanted to refund me for some warranty fee on an electrical item I purchased. Somehow, he already had my address and the exact price I paid for the TV - pretty sure he got it off Amazon. When I told him it was disgusting to try scamming my mum, he got angry and started yelling! I told him to be ashamed of himself and his family, then just hung up.

I told him my speed was only around 40mbps. Then he asked about the router's lights. I straight up asked if he was a scammer. He said the light was blue.
