I reckon this was one of those dodgy calls where they try to record you saying "hello" or "yes." They kept quiet until I said "hello," then claimed to be from some heating support place and asked if I owned the house. Once I foolishly replied "yes," they just cut me off. This is my first run-in with something like this and I'm proper annoyed for falling for it. Won't be making that mistake twice!

Got a call from a firm called Safe Homes, they say they do window installations. Rather than telling you how much the windows will cost upfront, they ask about your monthly budget first, then work out a quote based on that. It seemed like they’re trying to get you to sign up to some sort of interest free finance deal without being straight about total prices. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Just got another call from some telemarketer rubbish. Honestly, when’s the government going to step in and shut these dodgy operations down? They’re such a pain, honestly like the worst parts of taxi drivers.
