Wasn’t worried at first, but after reading other comments, looks like it might be a trick to get you to ring back. Heads up, don’t call back if it shows up as a 1471 number!

this number rings constantly, like 2 or 3 times every day, but whenever i pick up theres nobody there. really frustrating! ive had to block it now cause its just too much.

I've had this number ringing me a lot, and every time I pick up and say hello, there's no reply. It's happening quite often and it's pretty annoying and even a bit unsettling. Since I don't always have the chance to reach the phone quickly, it's really not ideal. I've gone ahead and blocked the caller now.

I get calls from this number on my phone nearly every day. I have no idea who they are and they always leave voicemails, which ends up costing me. It’s really annoying. If it was actually from British Gas, I’d expect an email or a letter to confirm anything. I don’t owe anything or have any contracts with anyone that would explain these calls.
