Right after I logged into my Amazon account, I got a ring from this number saying they were my bank, trying to say there was a couple of dodgy transactions around £1300. They were either boasting about having some kind of software to hack my PC or trying to get my card info. Either way, they’re definitely scammers and quite nasty with tech. I’m pretty sure that number isn’t actually from Middlesbrough, probably more like Rotherham.
