I put the caller on hold to ascertain the situation with the MD, who was completely oblivious to any such communication. The chap on the other end was quite unpleasant and combative when I informed him that the MD had never opened an account with their company, nor had there been any prior correspondence. We’ve already got our own website and a dedicated design team, but he seemed determined to insinuate that I was being untruthful. He then mentioned a mobile number he supposedly had for the MD and stated he would attempt to reach him through that, as well as referencing a website that most certainly isn’t ours. I reiterated that it didn’t belong to us, yet he continued his unpleasant attitude, treating my comments as if they were fabrications.
