Some bloke named David called me from an 01642 number, claimed he was with BT Openreach but had an accent that ain’t English. I just cut the call off. Normally, if it’s really Openreach, they ring you from an 0800 number or maybe a mobile, but that’s only if you’ve already put in a fault report. Sounds dodgy to me.
