Got a call from someone saying they were from hpool council, doing some sort of survey. Seemed a bit dodgy if you ask me.

I got a call from a bloke saying he was ringing on behalf of some North East councils, asking if I’d come across cigarette smuggling or been offered cheap fags. He didn’t give his name or any sort of ID. When I said I don’t smoke, he seemed a bit thrown and didn’t press further. Cheers, and then he just ended the call. From what others have said, I’m pretty sure there’s something dodgy behind it all - just not sure what yet.

I got a call from a number with a Middlesbrough area code, but as soon as I picked up, they just ended the call. I don’t know anyone around there, so I’m not bothering to ring them back.
