Somebody rang me saying that £600 had supposedly been taken from my card to an overseas account, and told me to press 1 for more info. I reckon if I'd done that, they'd try to get my card details - like the number, expiry, and security code - to steal my money. Totally dodgy. Then, when I called back the number, there was only a message saying it’s no longer in service. It’s about time they did something about these scam numbers, probably just racking up phone bills on innocent folks!
