Just got one of those scam calls again. Pick up and all I hear is this annoying crackling sound so I just hang up right away before they can say a word. It’s really frustrating, these scammers need to be stopped for good.

Caller ID was blocked, so I didn't pick up and there was no message left on the answerphone.

I heard someone saying hello repeatedly, but I’m not convinced they realised they were recording a message. There was quite a bit of background noise, which suggests it might have been a telemarketer. In the end, no proper message was left at all.
