Got a call from some bloke saying he was from BT and said there were hackers messing with my IP, needed to fix it right away. I didn’t buy it and told him to jog on. Later rang my internet company to be sure, turns out it was a scam. Proper dodgy!

Someone called me saying my computer was infected, but it was clearly a scam.

Got loads of calls from this number. The first time I answered, no one said anything. The next time, I could hear what sounded like a call centre in the background but nobody spoke and then they just hung up. When I got a call again, I refused to give my name and they ended the call right away.
