I got a call from this number telling me it was Amazon Prime and that they were about to take money from my bank account. They said if I wanted to stop it, I should press 1 right away. Since I don’t even have Amazon Prime, I just ended the call straight away. This isn’t the first time either, I’ve had a few calls like this, mostly just before 9 in the morning. Following Amazon’s suggestion, I reported it to Action Fraud. Hopefully, the more people who report these scams, the quicker something will be done to stop them.
