some lady called claiming she was from sky, saying id been overcharged on my landline and was due a £220 refund. when i asked why since i dont even use sky, she told me the refund applied to customers of all providers. i got suspicious and before i could ask any more questions she just cut me off. well, that wasnt unexpected at all.

Got a call from someone saying she was from Sky refunds, asking for my bloke. She claimed we had a £220 refund waiting, which sounded a bit dodgy to me. Then she said she’d need some details to sort it out and asked for my birthday. I cut her off there and told her I’d ring Sky myself about it. She just hung up straight away. Pretty sure if I’d kept going, she’d have asked for my bank info to steal money under the pretence of this refund!
