Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. After seeing what others said about it, I just blocked it and got rid of the number.

I got a call from 01639892517 way before 8 in the morning. I never answer calls from unknown numbers, so I just ignored it. After seeing what others say, I’m relieved it might not be serious, but it’s still annoying if I’m waiting for something important. Plus, it’s kinda worrying getting a call that early - I thought cold calling wasn’t allowed before 9am in the UK?

I got a call from this number too, just yesterday morning at around 7:20. I never pick up unless it’s someone saved in my contacts because it’s just a waste of time. Tried reporting it before but the police and even Ofcom don’t seem to bother since these scammers just keep switching their numbers. Even after blocking unknown, private, and foreign numbers, BT still sends over 400 calls a month straight to my voicemail junk folder. You’d think they’d be able to do something about this with all the tech they have, but nah. This really needs sorting! - caller: 01639892517

Got a silent call today, and this ain’t the first one. When the same thing happens two times in a single day, it stops feeling like a one-off and starts getting proper annoying. Feels like harassment now.

Got calls today from some bloke named Frank, sounds Asian, saying he’s from “You Benefit”. He rang me early, like around 7.30 in the morning and then again just before 10. It’s getting a bit much, they call a lot during the day, sometimes twice! They keep asking all sorts of nosy stuff about who lives here. Now I just hang up straight away.

Got a call this morning at like quarter to eight, someone asking for a Colin Burton but they wouldn’t say who they were. I wasn’t really up for chatting that early and told them I wasn’t Colin, then asked why they were ringing so early. They just hung up straight away. Anyone know who 01639892517 is? At 7:15 in the mornin, I was roused from sleep by a ring from this number. I've been dealin with a sleep condition for the past seven years, and as I’m expecting an important call about my Dad who’s very ill, I jumped out of bed to answer. This number is really sketchy and the folks running it are quite dangerous criminals. They need to be dealt with asap. Got a call from this number claiming to be from "Benefits UK." They said they had a few quick questions and it wouldn't take long. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call straight away. Number was 01639892517.

At 10.01 today, this number tried to ring me but couldn’t get through because they need to state their name and hit the hash key before the call connects - I have call guardian set up. So, this one is going straight to block now.
