I picked up the phone when it rang earlier but the person on the other end just hung up straight away.

My elderly grandparents, who have disabilities, keep getting calls from someone named Samantha with a Welsh accent, claiming to be from Horizon. When I picked up, she wanted to speak with the house owner. I said I was handling things, and then she just ended the call. This kind of pestering is really awful, targeting folks who are already vulnerable.

I’m on the TPS list and honestly, it doesn’t seem to help much. Loads of random numbers keep ringing up but since I don’t know them, I just leave it to the answerphone to pick up.
