It kept trying to connect with us over and over, and after a couple of attempts, someone finally picked up, only to hang up straight away. How incredibly discourteous! Surely, this must be one of those pesky cold calls? After spotting that comment above, we’re starting to think that’s exactly the case. Has anyone else had similar experiences? What do you reckon?

This number has tried to get through to us multiple times, and like you, I’ve tried calling it back, only to be greeted by a constant engaged tone. They keep ringing and ringing until you eventually pick up, and when you do, it disconnects straight away. It appears to be a local number since it has the same area code as my village. Quite perplexing, to say the least!

I received a call back in March 2010 from a very polite saleswoman who mentioned some potential home enhancements. I can't recall all the specifics, but she was quite gracious. However, once we expressed our lack of interest, she promptly wrapped things up without pressure.
