Got a call from a woman claiming to be from Aviva, asking for me by name about my life insurance. I don't have any policy with them anymore. She had a thick Indian accent, so it was hard to catch everything she said. I told her I wasn’t keen on any offers and asked to be removed from their call list. She got quite defensive, saying it was info only for current customers and could only be shared on the phone. I insisted she send it in writing and ended the call. They’ve called back like 6 times over two days, so I’ve just been ignoring them now. Planning to report and block the number.

Like a few others have mentioned, this is definitely a scam. They claim to be from UCompare offering insurance. What stood out with this caller compared to other spammers was how shockingly rude and pushy he got when I asked where he got my number from and tried to nicely say I wasn’t interested. Properly belligerent. Blocked the number straight away.
