Got a call from someone named Crystal or similar, sounded dodgy with all that Xmas bonus nonsense. I used to send it to voicemail, but now no message at all and I just block the number straight away. Definitely feels like a scam.

Somebody called claiming to be Crustal from SomeOne and kept repeating the same lines about a Christmas deal. Then they just cut the call out of nowhere.

Got a ring from some guy asking if I was Mr ########. When I said yes, he just told me it was a mistake and then quickly ended the call.

Got a call from a woman who said she was Ann, working for some company called “Crystal” or something, trying to tell us about their Christmas deal for homeowners. I cut her off right away and told her we’re on the TPS list and don’t deal with cold callers. She apologised and claimed she’d take our number off their list. Just like every other scammer says. If they’re so careful about that, why even call us to start with? Best to just ignore these calls.

Saw a missed call and decided to look it up online, ended up on this site.

This morning my phone rang a couple times. Over the last two days, the number 01639337006 kept showing up. The first time it rang, I had my phone on silent so didn’t hear. Today, the initial call was some robotic message claiming to be from B.T., so I just hung up. The second caller wanted to talk to Mr and Mrs, and oddly enough, she seemed to know my name. I told her bluntly that my husband had died. These calls feel like harassment now, it’s really frustrating. I’m honestly thinking about getting rid of my landline. It’s scam after scam every single day. It’s unbearable.

I picked up and heard nothing - seemed like no one was there. They must be using some kind of automated dialling system, cause the first one who answers gets some scam talk and the others just get dead air, which I think is against the law. I've just blocked the number!

I picked up since the number had my area’s STD code. It turned out to be a call centre claiming they were reaching out to homeowners nearby to offer grants for home renovations. I explained to the woman that without any prior contact, under the new GDPR regulations, they weren’t allowed to call me. She sounded annoyed and insisted she had the right to call anyone she pleased. Needless to say, I quickly ended the call and blocked the number!

Got a ring from 01639337006 earlier. A woman with a very local tone mentioned my name then quickly added “there’s nothing to worry about”. That made me really annoyed. I can't stand cold callers telling me to relax - it does the opposite and makes me stressed. Not surprisingly, she just hung up on me. Definitely blocked that number!

I got a call from someone with a Welsh accent claiming there’s some kind of funding available to improve homes in my area. They then began asking a load of really private stuff. I didn’t reply to the questions and ended the call quickly. Have blocked the number since.
