Got a call about some scam PPI stuff, then like an hour later the same number rings pretending to be from my bank. Best thing is to just hang up and report it, cos if you pick up, they’ll just keep ringing non stop. So far they’ve called me 18 times today alone, starting at 8 in the morning and it’s now nearly noon. Caller ID shows “PPI and Scam Bank” - complete waste of time.

I accidentally picked up my phone thinking it was a local UK number. After some weird noises and static, a bloke called "Mark" popped up on the line. No way was I gonna hang about and hear him out, I’ve zero patience for those shady types. If “Mark” really was who he said, then I’d eat my hat!

The number shows up as being from Neath, Glamorgan, which is an area we're linked to, so I picked up. Turns out it was a telesales call though, with a sort of Asian-American accent. I ended the call quick and blocked the number straight away. Do you reckon this number might be forwarded from somewhere else, like a server, making it look UK-based when it's actually calling from abroad?
