I've had a few calls now from an 01639 number, they said they were from BT (which I’m not even a customer of) and warned me that my internet would be disconnected. They also claimed my phone line was damaged and told me to press 1 or 2 to sort it out. Luckily, I kept my wits about me and just ended the call, but it’s worrying thinking about more gullible folks who might fall for this rubbish from these heartless scammers.

Got a robo-call saying it was from BT, told me my internet was hacked and they’d cut it off in a day. Total con, I don’t even have an account with them. Pure scam, watch out!
