Got two calls from the same number yesterday and then again this morning. It sounded like a foreign bloke was on the line, and there was loads of chatter in the background. They claimed to be from BT, but I reckon it’s a scam. I just hung up and definitely won’t be picking up if they call again.

I got a call from a woman claiming that someone was messing with my BT broadband through my computer. I just pretended to believe her and let her run through her usual spiel. Then I said I worked for BT broadband myself and that I'd have a look at the system while she stayed on the line. She ended up hanging up super fast.

I picked up when this number called, and some bloke said there was an issue with my BT internet. I told him everything was working fine on my end, but he just kept going on about a supposed problem. After I kept saying everything was fine, I finally just hung up. I then dialed 1471 to check the caller ID, rang BT directly to double-check, and ended up blocking the number so they can’t bother me again.

Today i got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, saying my broadband and computer were causing problems with their network. I said i wasnt interested and just hung up straight away. Then they rang me back asking why i ended the call so quick, i told him it was a scam and refused to chat, hung up again. Later in the afternoon, another person phoned saying the same thing, but i told them id already checked with my provider and everything was working perfectly, then they just ended the call on me.
