Somebody phoned pretending they were a car insurance broker. The info they had about a relative was totally wrong. Then they just ended the call.

About quarter of an hour after I emailed Icelolly.com to complain about their wrong internet prices, this number ringed me up. I’d given my mobile as a contact. I didn’t answer and no voicemail or anything was left. My car insurance isn’t up for renewal, so it’s definitely nothing to do with that. When I talked to Icelolly last night, it was someone with an Indian accent but I’m not sure if the call centre is actually based there.

I was just about to sort out my car insurance renewal when these calls started coming through. Bit suspicious, right? They rang me at 5.21pm on the 18th, then again at 10.49am and 4.33pm on the 19th, and once more at 12.56pm on the 20th.
