i got an automated call this morning (around 9:45am on thursday 18th july) claiming to be from barclaycard, saying i had to press 1 to confirm a £600 payment. i just hung up straight away and called barclaycard myself. they told me it was a scam and they were sorting it out already. honestly, these fraud calls are so awful, i hate them with a passion.
