4 yearsI got a phone call from someone saying they were with BT. They knew a bit about me, but it was stuff anyone could find online. They kept going on about how my internet might have been hacked or something. I kept asking them to give me my actual BT account number to prove they were legit, but they just couldn’t. What really threw me was that they kept addressing me as the account holder, even though I’m not - my husband technically has the account. Then they said they'd send me a PIN to prove they're genuine, but they didn’t care that I told them I wasn’t the account holder and wanted me to log on to my computer.
