Got a call claiming I’d be charged £39.99 for an Amazon subscription unless I pressed 1 to talk to someone to cancel it. Didn’t buy it since I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account. The approach was a bit different from usual, but clearly another scam. Just ignoring these calls now.

Got a call on Sunday night from a woman with an American accent, talking about my Amazon account. She kept mentioning my Prime membership, which I don’t actually have, even though I do shop on Amazon. The voice was oddly like the one Visa uses on their automated calls.
