I received a call from someone claiming to represent Microsoft, insisting they’d spotted a security problem on my device. I’ve had numerous similar calls before, so I recognise it as a scam straight away.

I keep receiving calls from an Asian woman claiming to be from Windows Technical Support. She insisted that my computer was sending error messages to them. I simply told her I don't own a laptop, just a mobile phone. When I mentioned that I work for Microsoft, the line went silent immediately.

I picked up the phone and greeted the caller, but received nothing back; they just ended the call abruptly. I think I might keep a whistle handy for the next time!

I've received at least a hundred calls over the past four months.

This number's been pestering me for several days now, calling intermittently. I don’t have a computer on hand, but all I get is silence on the line before it abruptly disconnects. It's quite peculiar, really.

What a right nuisance! I've had two calls today already. The first was from an Asian chap banging on about my windows, but I cut him off after just one mention. The second time, though, no one said a word—so frustrating!

I received a call from 01636 812008, claiming to be from the technical support team at Windows. Feeling rather unwell with a sore throat, I decided it was best to end the conversation promptly and hang up.

Received a call this morning around half past eight, but there was nothing but silence on the other end. Odd, isn't it?

I've perused the remarks regarding this number. It appears to be a bunch of scoundrels attempting to gain access to your computer. Best to avoid engaging with them altogether!
