Received a dodgy phone call claiming to be from a Sky broadband support team, which was a bit odd since I’m actually with Virgin Media. Total nonsense!

I received a rather peculiar phone call from someone claiming to be from my internet service provider, bang on about issues with my IP address. She insisted on guiding me through some sort of procedure. Naturally, I had no interest in entertaining that nonsense. Straight to the block list!

I've been receiving calls from a number starting with 222, and I can't quite make sense of it. It's totally unfamiliar to me, and I’ve not shared my number with anyone I don't recognise. To be honest, I usually give unsolicited calls a miss until I've had a chance to look them up online. It's just a bit puzzling, isn't it?

A mate of mine received a call from this number claiming there was an issue with her internet connection. The amusing twist is that she doesn’t even have internet access! How bizarre!

I received a rather dodgy call from an American woman today, claiming that our internet security had been breached and urging me to press 1 to speak with a technician about it. It all seemed a bit suspicious, so I decided to hang up (05/10/18).

I received a bizarre call from an individual who insisted my IP address had been compromised on a global scale. They urged me to switch on my computer so they could "guide me" in blocking this supposed breach. It was clearly a scam, especially since the caller claimed to be in London, yet the caller ID displayed Newark, Nottinghamshire. Absolutely ridiculous!

I received a pre-recorded call from someone claiming to be from Shirley's broadband service. It was clearly a scam, trying to convince me that my IP address had been breached.
