Right away went on my call block list, looked up the number here and yep, another dodgy scammer trying it on. It’s just added to my massive blocked list now.

I’ve gone ahead and set my phone to automatically divert any calls from numbers I don’t know straight to voicemail. Of course, they never leave a message, so I’m pretty sure it’s just one of those annoying calls again. I’ve blocked the number now, but I’m sure they’ll just keep switching to new ones. Got a call from this identical number last Thursday. It was completely silent for around 10 seconds before a loud beep cut in! Then, this morning, it rang again, and after a 6 second pause, a guy with a thick accent - pretty sure he's not local - identified himself as Alan and started insisting on speaking with the business owner. His attitude rubbed me up the wrong way big time. I wasn't exactly polite in return, that’s for sure!
