I got a call from this number, some bloke saying he was with the Police. He tried to scare me by saying I had outstanding tax issues and some criminal case numbers to sort out. Then he pushed for payment over the phone, asking for my bank details and card info. Said if I didn’t pay, the Police would come to my house and arrest me! Does anyone know where this landline is actually based?

I got a call from a bloke using this number who said he was from the Police. He tried all sorts of tricks, like saying I owed taxes and had a criminal case against me! Then he pushed me to pay up straight away, asking for details of my bank account, debit card, anything really. The caller said they were from some kind of consumer advice group, asking about timeshare finance. Honestly, the woman on the line wasn't rude and quickly ended the call once I told her I wasn’t interested and had no finance worries.
