Had an irritating call from this number (01635454895) four times today, 18/08/2011. The caller went on about our computer facing some sort of issue. Despite us telling them to stop ringing, they persisted. Quite the pest!

We received a rather peculiar call, with the caller claiming that our computer was bogging down the network and asking us to activate something on it. When we inquired which device they were referring to, considering we have three, they insisted it was the one running Windows 7. We must say, the tone became quite off when we let them know we don’t own a machine with that operating system. The conversation took a swift turn for the worse, and they abruptly hung up the moment we probed further. Upon attempting to ring back, the number was apparently invalid. Quite the ordeal!

Received a call earlier today from this number claiming to be from Microsoft. When we asked how they got our number, the caller became rather defensive. I’ve flagged this with Microsoft as it seems like a scam to me. We hung up before they could unload any further nonsense on us.
