Got a weird automated call supposedly from B.T. saying my landline’s about to be disconnected. Thing is, all my bills are up to date and there’s nothing wrong with my account, so it felt dodgy straight away. I’m pretty sure B.T. wouldn’t ring you like that out of the blue. It’s clearly a scam to get you to ring back and hand over personal info or cash. I just blocked the number and flagged it as fraud.
