Didn’t bother to leave a message, did they? Sounds a bit dodgy, doesn’t it? Spam, perhaps?

The sole digit I possess for A-Plan Insurance based in Newbury isn't the one associated with this call, hence I chose not to answer. Normally, they leave a voicemail if they ring me, but this time there was nothing.

I received a call from 01635 016545, purporting to represent an insurance scheme. However, this number doesn't match the one I've got on file for them. I was preoccupied when they rang, but I requested them to phone me again. I’ll hang tight to see if they follow through, and I'll provide another update then. Something about this feels off; I have my suspicions that it might be a scam.

I didn't get a message after turning down the call, so I've gone ahead and added this number to my blocked contacts. If it was on the up and up, they would have definitely dropped me a message, wouldn't they?

This doesn't seem quite right. Whenever I miss a call, they typically drop a message for me to listen to.
