On the 27th of October 2020, a call dropped through to my landline just after midday. It was a lady speaking with a Chinese accent, claiming someone was attempting purchases on my Amazon account. I told her that if that were true, I’d have got an email notification by now. She went over the same warning again, so I asked for her name and then she just ended the call.
