I rang up, asking, "Are you calling from a call centre?" but there was utter silence on the line, and before I knew it, the call was cut off. It was quite baffling, really.

Ein Herr mit norddeutschem Dialekt hat mir zugeflüstert, dass ich eine Reise nach Ägypten gewonnen hätte. Er hat mir fünf Minuten lang das Blaue vom Himmel versprochen, bis es plötzlich hiess, dass ich den Gewinn nur erhalten könne, wenn ich ein Abonnement abschliesse - und das wohl aufgrund irgendeiner gesetzlichen Regelung! angeblich sei er von Sonnenklar-TV. Seltsame Masche, oder?
