Phone number ☎️ 01634620101 👆 is reported as associated with persistent scam calls from individuals falsely claiming to represent BT. Callers frequently warn of hacked internet connections or infected computers, urging recipients to grant remote access via software like TeamViewer. Many targets, suspicious of the callers' foreign accents and aggressive tactics, refuse to cooperate and confirm with their actual providers, identifying the calls as fraudulent. Received a phone call earlier today from a chap named Jordan Parker, who claimed to be reaching out on behalf of BT. Now, his accent didn’t really come across as British, which raised my suspicions right away. He mentioned something about someone allegedly hacking into my IP address. However, before the chat could proceed, I requested proof of his credentials. He provided the number 01634 620101 and said he was located at 81 New Gate Street, London, yet he couldn’t recall his postcode straight off. This clearly sounded dodgy, so I politely informed him that I was preoccupied and expressed my gratitude for his concern. I strongly advise steering clear of such calls!

I've just received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be 'Kate Gill', who warned me that hackers are breaching my internet security. She insisted that if I didn’t comply with her demands, my connection would be severed. I had my suspicions and informed her that I believed it to be a scam. I asked her for a number to call back, and she provided me with this one...

Received a call today echoing the same story about my Internet being down and claims of hacking. They alleged to be from BT, of all companies! I asked for a phone number related to the one they were using, but I wasn’t taken in. However, I can imagine some folks might fall for it. I had a chat with my actual provider, which isn’t BT, and they confirmed it’s definitely a scam. No doubt about it!

Someone rang me saying they were with BT and needed to get on my computer using Team Viewer to get rid of hackers. Definitely a dodgy call, total scam!

Something similar happened to me. They said my phone would be disconnected for 2 weeks if I didn’t let them in. I had a bad feeling and thought it was dodgy, so I rang up my provider (not BT) to sort it out properly next time. They were pretty helpful. Total scam, no doubt about it.

I received a rather suspicious call from someone claiming to be 'Travis Smith' - definitely not a local voice. He asserted he was from BT and claimed my account had been compromised. He insisted I access Team Viewer on my computer. When I expressed my doubts about his affiliation with BT, he provided the number 01634 620 101 for me to confirm his identity. After a while, I decided enough was enough and ended the call. To my disbelief, he rang back and left a rather abusive voicemail, threatening to disconnect my internet and hurling some rather crude insults.

Today, I received a rather alarming phone call from someone purporting to be from 'BT', insisting that my phone line had been compromised. They requested that I download 'Teamviewer' so they could access my device remotely. Naturally, I declined their offer, and they then proceeded to reference the BT technical support line, which they claimed was 01634620101. Quite the dodgy situation!

Feels incredibly fishy to me, so I’ll definitely be getting in touch with BT for clarification.

Got a call saying my computer was full of viruses and my info was being stolen. They gave me a number to call back: 01634620101. It sounded dodgy to me, but I’m not sure how to verify if it’s a scam or not. Anyone know how to check?

Got a call from a woman saying she was from BT, telling me my router might have been hacked. She also asked about the gadgets I had connected and what kind of stuff I did online, like banking and that. Bit fishy if you ask me.

I’ve just received a rather dubious call from someone purporting to be 'Daniel Martin'-definitely not sporting a British accent! He was saying I'm about to lose my internet connection for five days. Interestingly, he suggested that if I hopped on my computer, he’d guide me through resolving this little 'issue’. He even handed me the number 01634620101, and let me tell you, he was rather pushy once I didn’t take the bait. It makes one wonder how many unsuspecting individuals will fall prey to this trickery!

Got a call from someone saying there’s a problem with my BT broadband. I asked for their number to ring back, and they gave me 01634620101, but when I tried calling, no answer. I also tried checking with BT if the number was legit, but no luck. Seems like a scam to me.

I received a rather dubious call from a chap purporting to represent BT, who ominously informed me that I’d be without internet for a staggering five days due to a supposed hacking incident involving my computer. When I asked for proof, he provided an ID number-BT 1414190-and suggested I get in touch with BT at 01634620101. Sounded a bit fishy to me. Thanks for reading! Best, Trevor
