I never pick up my landline, just leave it ringing. Mostly it’s just annoying calls anyway, so I never bother.

I just got one of those automated calls from some Shirley who was saying my IP address was at risk and that I’d be cut off soon. Then it told me to press 1 if I wanted to chat to someone. Yeah, no chance!

Somebody called me, said her name was Shirley and she was with the internet provider or something, but they didn’t say which one. She told me my router and IP were hacked or something like that. Seems a bit dodgy to me!

Got a few calls from this number, just got one around ten minutes ago. It was some automated message about my internet being hacked or something. My advice? Just don’t pick up.
