Scam alert. I got a call from a lady speaking with an Indian accent saying she was from Amazon. She told me there was strange activity on my account and that someone bought an iPhone without my permission. She then asked for my address to confirm it. I ended the call straight away. Just be careful if you get calls like this - they might be trying to steal your personal info.

Total scam. Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me claiming to be from Amazon about strange activity on my account. When I asked what kind of activity, he said someone bought a new iPhone using my details. I checked online and there was no sign of any purchase. Then he mentioned that two different IP addresses had accessed my account. I told him I reckon he’s trying to con me. He kept asking if it was really me, asking for my first and last name and an address I haven’t lived at in like 25 years, probably before Amazon was even a thing. I just ended the call.
