Had a call from a lady with a strong accent who spoke really fast, claiming an "engineer" had detected issues with our internet connection. We hadn’t noticed anything wrong. I got suspicious straight away and ended the call pretty sharpish. To me, this felt like either a scam or something quite risky. I’ve heard that these so-called "engineers" try to convince folks to give them remote access, then end up nicking personal info.
