Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me, saying he worked for BT Openreach and my computer was seriously infected with a virus. He insisted I check the Windows Event Viewer for error messages as proof of the infection. I wasn’t having any of it and told him he should seriously be embarrassed for being such a dishonest cheat trying to pull a scam.
