A few minutes later, the same person phoned again and ended up swearing at me. Definitely not the best way to represent their company!

Got a call from someone claiming to fix Windows problems. I told them my computer actually runs on Apple OS, then they switched to saying my router was under attack. I told them to stop calling and put the phone down.

Microsoft's got way too much cash and stuff to bother with your internet safety, that's for sure. They, along with loads of others, are always after your computer’s data, trying to grab everything valuable on there! If you can, try to block them, but if not, just do your best to ignore it - it’s all just a scammy mess.

I've been receiving repeated calls from a chap claiming there's an issue with my computer. It's becoming rather bothersome, and I’d really like them to cease these phone calls!

I told him to stop ringing me and then just blocked his number. Next time I think I’ll mess around a bit, keep asking them to ring back in 5 minutes and block every new number they use until they finally give up.

Got a call from some bloke with a thick Indian accent who kept going on about computer problems, saying he was from Microsoft and Windows. He said he was sat in W London, but the phone number showed as Medway in Kent. Honestly, just don’t trust any randoms ringing you out of the blue, especially if they start asking questions. If it’s really important, they’ll send something in the post instead. Better to be cautious than fall for a scam.

Got a call from some woman, didn’t catch her name, but it was clearly a Windows scam. She kept interrupting, so I just told her I was onto her and to get lost! Hung up right after that.

Got a couple of calls from an Indian bloke - first he said he was with Microsoft Windows, then about 20 mins later a woman with an Indian accent called, telling me they'd got a message about malware on my PC and told me to turn it on. I just put the phone down. Watch out for these sorts of scams!

Some bloke rang me, clearly just messing about and trying to scam me. Said he was out in London, but then gave me a postcode that wasn’t even real. Told him to jog on and that he needs to sort his life out and find a proper job. Honestly, hope he’s struggling and doesn’t get very far with this rubbish.

Had a call around 9:40 in the morning from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft Windows. He insisted he knew I had Windows on my computer. I politely told him I already deal with a computer expert who warned me about scams like this and told him to stop ringing me. He tried to cut me off with “but madam, I’m not,” but I just hung up.

this guy said his name was "charlie" and had a really thick accent, probably indian or something. he wanted me to switch on my computer, but i told him i know all about these calls where they try to get remote access. he claimed that wasn’t his intention. then i asked where he was calling from and he said something like "windows." i told him i don’t use windows, and then he just started swearing at me, called me a fe****** bitch or something, and ended the call.
