Had a call from someone claiming I needed to renew my Amazon Prime, which I don’t even have. When I said that wasn’t me, he asked if I was a certain name. I said no, and then he insisted the order had to be cancelled. He asked if I had a smartphone so he could send a code to cancel it. I told him flat out I wasn’t giving any info to some scammer trying to steal from me. I even said he might not realise he’s being paid to rip people off and that he should find a proper, honest job instead. After that, he just hung up.

Somebody rang saying they were from Amazon but as soon as I asked for their details, they just ended the call.
