The message said that £1,100 had just been taken from my bank in an overseas transfer, plus another £330 was spent on Amazon. It came from some kind of ‘security’ or secure products team, telling me to press 1 to approve or 2 to dispute. Being ex-directory and on the TPS, I’m convinced dodgy telco staff must be selling our numbers, mine along with loads of others.
