Got a call earlier from 01634 250890, and it was one of those automated messages claiming to be from my credit card company. They said there were weird charges on my card - something like £300 from Amazon and some other amount I didn’t catch. I just ended the call straight away. Later, I looked up the number and it turns out it’s linked to Medway Portable Buildings in Rochester, Kent, postcode ME3 9BE. Feels like these scammers are using real businesses’ numbers to make their scams seem legit.

Just wanted to add on from my previous post, the number 01634 250890 links back to a residential property at 29 Stoke Road, Hoo, ROCHESTER, ME3 9BE. I couldn't spot anything relating to Medway Portable Buildings there.
