Got a call from 01634216423 earlier today, with a guy introducing himself as James, saying he was with the telephone preference service. He wanted to verify my bank card expiry or else I’d lose the service. That sounded off because TPS is free and should’t ask for any card info at all. The bloke had an Indian accent and didn’t even bother asking for my name. Definitely a scam, so don’t share any personal info. I just hung up straight away!
