My phone has this rather handy announce function, so it was clear the caller had no intention of carrying on the conversation. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Utterly dodgy! I've had enough and decided to block the number.

Received a call at half eight in the morning! I'm a night worker, and even when I'm not on duty, I simply refuse to pick up the phone that early. Luckily, my answering machine kicked in, but they didn’t bother leaving a message. I've seen various comments elsewhere that suggest different motives for the call, or sometimes they don't say anything at all. It's definitely got the hallmarks of a scammer, if you ask me!

I received a call where there was absolutely no one on the other end. It was quite strange!

I received a call from 01633928265. An Asian gentleman, claiming to be named James, was on the line discussing a warranty for a washing machine—which is odd, considering I don’t even own one! When I pointed out that he seemed to be running a scam, he initially seemed confused, so I reiterated my point. In the end, he just cut the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

This number called me at precisely 10.32 this morning. Sadly, I wasn’t in to pick up, so I daresay they might well give it another go!

01633928265 - Another dodgy phone line, part of a long list of scams, apparently linked to a washing machine — funny that, as we don’t own one! Just ignore any calls that purport to offer you assistance. It’s all a ruse to extract your financial information to fund their lavish lifestyles, with flashy BMWs and posh Mercs to boot! Steer clear!

I received a call from a woman identifying herself as Amanda, claiming our washing machine warranty had expired. When I inquired about her company, she fell silent, and the call abruptly ended. Quite clearly, it was a scam attempt.

Had a call earlier today. No words exchanged before they hung up.

I answered the call, but they just cut off without saying a word.

I chose not to pick up, and they didn't bother leaving a voicemail. I'm absolutely fed up with constant calls during the day! It's especially frustrating when I'm trying to work from home, as they keep disrupting my meetings. It's getting quite unbearable!

Every time I pick up the phone, they seem to hang up straight away. When I try to return the call, it's like the number doesn't exist! Quite bizarre, if you ask me.

I’m a bit puzzled about this number. The call was intercepted by my call screening service. We’ve been receiving calls from Newport lately, but they always introduce themselves properly since we screen all incoming calls. We’re familiar with their number, so this one’s a mystery. I'll be blocking it without hesitation.

As soon as I picked up the phone, they cut off the call. Definitely has the hallmarks of a dodgy scammer.

Received an unexpected call from an unknown number. They didn't leave a message, so I decided to disregard and block them.

Claimed he was representing a firm but failed to mention which one. Kept insisting I provide my banking details so he could verify something. Not a chance, it’s clearly a scam!

I'm quite convinced it was a telemarketer, as he was attempting to sell me various kitchen gadgets. I'm unsure whether it was a genuine call or some sort of con, but I had no interest whatsoever, so I politely declined. He simply replied with an "okay" before hanging up.
