Had another call today claiming to be Virgin Media saying there was a problem with my broadband. It was one of those Indian call centres with lots of background noise. Over the past couple of days, I’ve gotten about 20 calls like this, each from different numbers. It’s getting really annoying now.

got a call from a lady with an asian accent saying there’s an issue with my virgin internet. she told me to get on a laptop or tablet to fix it otherwise they’ll cut my internet off in like 25 days. sounded dodgy to me.

Every time I pick up, there’s just silence on the other end and then it cuts off after a bit. No one talks at all.

Got a call from someone saying he was with "Virgin Media" and gave the name "Jordan". When my daughter said she was onto his scam, he actually admitted he was trying to con us. Then he quickly ended the call after she cheekily asked if he was after her bank info or just cold hard cash. We've already had 9 calls from that number in just 48 hours!

These lot keep ringing me non-stop for the past week, claiming to be from Virgin Media and asking for my details. I actually called Virgin Media myself and they told me it wasn't them at all. Definitely just scammers trying their luck.
